A badly needed article (lnkd.in/gr_MSi9W) reminds us that of ONE of the (possibly large) sources of discrepancy between animal and human studies is the ad hoc nature of pre-clinical studies. Amazingly, most programs lack a preclinical coordinator (the preclinical counterpart to the traditional clinical coordinator). Worth reading!
